I uninstalled the software and tried re-installing it again. I then found that both libssl.so.4 and libcrypto.so.4 files were added to /usr/lib, which I thought was a good thing. This is the first time I found my connection terminated. I confess, I only have a vague idea what these libraries are. It needed libssl.so.4 and libcrypto.so.4, which it said it could replace with libssl.so.0.9.8 and libcrypto.so.0.9.8 respectively. When I installed netExtender the very first time after re-installing ubuntu, the installer warned me of a couple of dependency issues that it thought it could solve. Does anyone know what is happening, and how to remedy the problem? I seem to remember this happening once in the past, but I have no idea how I fixed it. Using SSL Encryption Cipher 'DHE-RSA-AES256-SHA'Īnd then my password is invalidated and I have to try again, with the same result. After connection to the server is established and my Login is accepted, I get the following feedback in my terminal. I now have trouble with my new installation of netExtender. I installed netExtender-3.0.597 and had it running properly on Jaunty for a couple of months before I did a complete re-installation of ubuntu to rid myself of a bunch of Windows partitions. I am not using a firewall on my machine but I might be behind one on my landlord's router. I use the Sonicwall NetExtender client to do my work from home.
